Terms of sale
How buying on WALBIA works: who sells to you, prices including IGI, payment, delivery or collection, the 48-hour claim window, refunds and warranties.
Version 1, in force since 25 Oct 2026
Provisional draft, pending legal review
Drafted on 24 Oct 2026. It may change before the final version. Details in square brackets are still to be completed.
What these terms cover
These terms apply to purchases of parts on the WALBIA website or app, by individuals, businesses and garages. They complement the terms of use. Used cars and car hire are not bought on WALBIA: they are arranged directly with the garage.
Who sells to you
Every listing and every order shows who the seller is:
- New parts: WALBIA. The seller is Maverick Automotive SLU, selling from its suppliers’ stock. Some are shipped by the supplier straight to your address, with its own carrier and tracking number. If anything goes wrong, we are responsible.
- Used, refurbished or surplus parts: garages and breakers. The seller is the professional garage or breaker in the listing, registered on WALBIA. The sale contract is between you and them; WALBIA is the platform: it collects payment on the seller’s behalf, holds it during the protected-purchase window and mediates if there is a problem.
If you buy from several sellers at once, your purchase is split into one order per seller (and per shipping method), each with its own status and tracking.
Prices and tax
- Prices are shown including IGI (Andorra’s general indirect tax). Your order shows the base price, the IGI and the total.
- Verified business accounts and garages may have different prices under their own terms; you always see your price before paying.
- If delivery has a cost, you see it before paying.
- If the parcel ships from Andorra to another country, taxes or customs formalities may apply at destination. We only ship to the countries offered when you choose the address.
- The price that applies is the one when you confirm the purchase. If it changes while you buy, we tell you and you decide.
Availability and lead times
Each part shows whether it is in stock (dispatched as soon as it is prepared) or on order (with the number of days it takes to arrive from the supplier). Your order keeps that lead time as it was shown when you bought. If a part turns out not to be available, we tell you and refund it.
How to pay
- By card, on the payment provider’s secure page ([proveedor de pagos, por elegir]). WALBIA never sees your card details. The parts are held for 30 minutes while you pay; if payment is not completed, the purchase is cancelled.
- Garages with active trade credit can buy on account and pay within 15 days, under their terms.
- A purchase only counts as paid once the payment provider confirms it to us. We show it on the order and email you.
Delivery and collection
- Home delivery: to the address you choose. Once dispatched, you see the carrier and tracking number.
- Collection from the seller: we tell you when it is ready. Bring the order code.
- Check the parcel when it arrives. If it is damaged, take photos and tell us within 48 hours.
Protected purchase: the 48 hours
Once the order shows as delivered (or you collect it), you have 48 hours to check the parts:
- If all is well, tap “All good, I have received it” and the order is completed.
- If something is wrong (it has not arrived, it arrived broken, it is not what you ordered or it does not match the listing), tap “I have a problem” and tell us what happened, with photos if you can. The seller is not paid while we look into it.
- If you do nothing, after 48 hours the order completes automatically and the seller is paid their share.
This window ensures the seller is not paid until you have the part. It does not cut short your warranty or any other rights the law gives you: if a fault appears later, you can still claim (see “Warranty”).
Claims
WALBIA reviews each claim using what you tell us and what the seller says, and decides:
- In your favour: we refund the order (or the relevant part). If the part needs to be returned, we tell you how; if the seller made the mistake, return shipping costs you nothing.
- In the seller’s favour: we explain why, the order is completed and the seller is paid.
If you disagree with the decision, write to us from Support. You can also always use the remedies the law gives you.
Returns and refunds
Money goes back to the card you paid with. We issue the refund as soon as it is decided, and your bank may take a few days to show it. A refund can be full or partial (for example, for a single part). It is never more than you paid. Your order shows each refund and its status.
If you are a consumer, you can cancel the purchase within [plazo de desistimiento: 14 días naturales?] of receiving the part, without giving a reason. Ask from Support with the order code and return the part unfitted, unused and in its original packaging. You pay for return shipping, unless the part was faulty or not what you ordered. If the part has been fitted or used, it may not be accepted back or its loss in value may be deducted, as the law allows. Parts made or prepared to your specification cannot be returned.
Warranty
- New parts: they carry the applicable legal guarantee and, where there is one, the manufacturer’s warranty. Claim it from Support with the order code.
- Used or refurbished parts: they carry the warranty stated in the listing (for example, 3 months) and, at least, whatever the law requires from a professional seller. The seller provides it; WALBIA helps you with the claim.
- We recommend having parts fitted by a professional. The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect fitting, misuse or fitting the part to an incompatible car.
Compatibility
We show which cars each part fits according to the manufacturer’s and seller’s data. Before buying, check it against the part number, the VIN or with your garage. If the part does not match what the listing said, the listing is at fault and you can claim.
WALBIA’s commission
You pay the listed price; there is no separate commission for you. On parts sold by garages and breakers, WALBIA charges the seller a commission, and the seller receives the rest once the order is completed.
Invoices
Each seller issues the invoice for what they sell you: WALBIA (Maverick Automotive SLU) for new parts, and each garage or breaker for its parts. Invoices are kept for as long as the law requires, even if you delete your account.
What is not sold
On WALBIA you cannot sell stolen parts or parts of unknown origin, odometer-tampering devices, kits to defeat emission-control systems or anything else on the list of what cannot be sold. If you buy something like that without knowing, tell us: we remove the listing and refund you.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Principality of Andorra. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection your own country’s law gives you. For any dispute, please write to us first from Support; if it cannot be resolved, it falls to the courts with jurisdiction under the law.
