Terms for garages and sellers

The rules for garages and breakers using WALBIA: the management software, AI credits, buying parts, selling used parts, 15-day trade credit and your customers’ data.

Version 1, in force since 25 Oct 2026

Provisional draft, pending legal review

Drafted on 24 Oct 2026. It may change before the final version. Details in square brackets are still to be completed.

Who these terms apply to

They apply to businesses (garages, breakers and other motor-trade professionals) that register on WALBIA to run their workshop, buy parts or sell parts, and to their staff who use the workshop app and the Puente (the web management area). They complement the terms of use and the terms of sale.

Whoever registers the business confirms they are authorised to represent it and that its details (company name, tax number, address) are accurate.

The management software

Workshop management (reception, repair orders, diary, invoices, payments and staff) is free. Some advanced features or usage limits may depend on your business’s plan; current plans and prices are shown in the Puente, and we will give you notice before any price change.

You decide how you use the software and you are responsible for what you issue with it: your invoices, prices, taxes and obligations to your customers. WALBIA provides the tool and keeps it running; carry out whatever checks your business requires.

Your staff

The garage’s management adds its staff (office, reception, mechanics, drivers) with their role and removes them when they stop working with you. Each person uses their own login. The business is responsible for what its staff do on WALBIA.

AI credits

Features such as reading the car’s registration document or dashboard at reception, reading delivery notes from a photo, the technical assistant or the parts-counter chat use artificial intelligence and spend AI credits. The cost is shown next to each button.

  • Credits are earned by buying parts on WALBIA (and by selling on the marketplace), depending on your business’s level. They can also be topped up by paying, on the website.
  • Credits expire on the dates shown in your balance and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • If the AI fails, the reserved credits are returned automatically.

The AI helps, but it can make mistakes: check what it suggests (vehicle details, parts, diagnoses, amounts on a delivery note) before relying on it. The decision and the technical responsibility always remain with the garage.

Buying parts and the parts counter

You can buy from the catalogue, from a repair order or from the parts-counter chat. The counter is handled by an automated assistant and, when needed, by a person; this is always shown at the top of the chat. Tapping ORDER on a set of cards places a firm order at that moment’s price and stock.

If your business allows mechanics to order, their orders count as orders of the business.

15-day trade credit

Garages that meet the requirements (time trading, paid purchases, tax details and a clean record) can apply for trade credit: buy on account and pay within 15 days, by direct debit (with a SEPA mandate) or bank transfer.

  • WALBIA sets the limit and the term and may review them. We remind you in the parts-counter chat before each due date.
  • If a direct debit is returned or a debt is overdue, the credit is paused until it is paid, and the returned amount becomes due again in full.
  • We may close the credit if there are repeated non-payments or if your business’s circumstances change significantly.

Selling used, refurbished or surplus parts

Registered garages and breakers can sell on the WALBIA marketplace. New catalogue parts are sold only by WALBIA.

  • Describe each part truthfully: condition, part number, donor car, mileage if known, defects and warranty. Use real photos of the part. The AI can help you prepare the listing, but you are responsible for what you publish.
  • Keep records of where each part came from (which car and how it reached you) and show them to us if we ask.
  • Do not list anything on the list of what cannot be sold.
  • Keep your stock up to date. If you sell a part outside WALBIA, remove it.
  • Prepare and ship (or have ready for collection) each sale within the stated time and update its status on the order.
  • Handle your buyers’ claims and honour the warranty you advertise and the one the law requires.

WALBIA automatically translates your listings into the website’s other languages.

Commission and getting paid

  • For each sale, WALBIA keeps a commission on the price. The current commission is shown in the Puente before you publish.
  • The buyer pays WALBIA, which holds the money during the protected-purchase window: up to 48 hours after delivery or until a claim is resolved.
  • Once the order is completed, we pay you the amount minus the commission into the account you registered with the payment provider, after verifying your identity. Without a verified account, the payout is held until you verify it.
  • If a claim is resolved in the buyer’s favour, you are not paid for that order (or the relevant part).

Invoices and taxes

You issue the invoice to the buyer for each part you sell, with the applicable tax; WALBIA invoices you for its commission. Each party is responsible for its own taxes.

Your customers’ data

The data about your customers and their cars that you keep in the software (repair orders, quotes, invoices, photos, history) is yours: you are the controller and WALBIA processes it only on your behalf and to provide the service, as a processor. We do not use it for anything else and we do not sell it.

  • We keep it secure; only your staff (according to their role) and anyone you authorise can see it.
  • We use trusted providers for hosting and AI (those listed in the privacy policy), bound by the same commitments.
  • We help you respond to your customers’ rights requests and tell you about any security incident affecting them.
  • If you leave, you can download your data first; we then delete it, except what the law requires us to keep.

You must tell your customers that you use WALBIA to manage their data. Detailed processing terms: [anexo de encargo del tratamiento para talleres, por redactar].

Your public page and reviews

You keep your directory page (opening hours, services, “from” prices, photos) up to date and accurate. “From” prices are a guide: the final price is the one in your quote. Only customers with a completed repair can leave a review; you can reply once, respectfully. You may not request or pay for reviews.

Used cars and car hire

If you list used cars or hire cars, you are responsible for the listing details, the sale or hire and the related contracts, warranties and insurance. The VIN and number plate are not shown on the website. Reply to enquiries and confirm or decline bookings in time: those not confirmed within 48 hours lapse automatically.

Moderation, suspension and leaving

WALBIA may remove listings or cars that breach these terms or the law (for example, after a report), and will tell you and your staff why. For serious or repeated breaches, we may suspend marketplace selling or the business account. You can respond and ask us to review the decision.

You can ask to close your business account from the Puente. First we settle anything outstanding: open orders, payouts and trade-credit debt.

Liability

We do our best to keep WALBIA working well, but there may be outages or errors. We are not liable for loss of profit or indirect damage, or for decisions you make based on AI data or suggestions you did not check. This does not limit our liability where the law does not allow it.

Changes, governing law and courts

We will give you advance notice of changes to these terms and to commissions. These terms are governed by the law of the Principality of Andorra, and the courts of Andorra have jurisdiction over any dispute.
