What cannot be sold on WALBIA

What cannot be listed on the WALBIA marketplace: stolen parts, odometer tampering devices, emission-control deletes, used airbags, parts under recall and more.

Why there is a list

On the WALBIA marketplace, parts are sold by professional garages and breakers. To keep buying safe and legal, some things cannot be listed. If a listing breaks this list, we remove it and tell the seller why; if it happens again, we may suspend their marketplace selling.

What cannot be sold

Stolen parts or parts of unknown origin

Every part must have an origin the seller can prove: the car it came from (scrapped or legally acquired) or the purchase invoice. Parts with no traceability, or with serial numbers or VINs removed or altered, are not accepted.

Odometer tampering devices

No devices or software to change, stop or “correct” a car’s mileage, and no instrument clusters prepared for that purpose.

Emission-control delete kits

Nothing to remove or disable the diesel particulate filter (DPF), the EGR valve or the AdBlue/SCR system: no replacement pipes, emulators, software or remaps for that purpose. Genuine or type-approved replacement parts for those systems can be sold.

Used pyrotechnic safety parts

Airbags, seatbelt pretensioners and other parts with a pyrotechnic charge that have already been fitted to a car.

Parts under an open safety recall

Parts covered by a manufacturer’s safety recall that is still open (not repaired or replaced as that recall requires).

Tyres below the legal minimum

Tyres with a tread depth below the legal minimum (1.6 mm across the main tread) or with dangerous damage, such as cuts, bulges or exposed cords.

Counterfeit parts

Imitations passed off as a brand’s parts, or carrying copied logos and part numbers. Equivalent-quality parts from other brands can be sold, as long as their brand is stated clearly.

Anything illegal in Andorra

And, in general, anything Andorran law does not allow to be sold, or that is advertised for unlawful use (for example, non-approved lights or exhausts presented for use on public roads).
