Terms of use
The rules for using WALBIA as an individual or a business: your account, buying parts, booking a garage, used cars, car hire, reviews and moderation.
Version 1, in force since 25 Oct 2026
Provisional draft, pending legal review
Drafted on 24 Oct 2026. It may change before the final version. Details in square brackets are still to be completed.
Who we are and what these terms cover
WALBIA is a platform run by Maverick Automotive SLU (NRT [NRT de Maverick Automotive SLU], [dirección postal], El Tarter, Canillo, Andorra). These terms apply when you use the walbia.com website or the WALBIA app to find and buy parts, find a garage, ask for a booking or a quote, enquire about a used car or book a hire car.
If you use WALBIA as a garage or to sell parts, the terms for garages and sellers also apply. Purchases are also governed by the terms of sale. How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.
Who does what on WALBIA
- New parts: sold by WALBIA (Maverick Automotive SLU) from its suppliers’ stock. Some are shipped by the supplier straight to your address.
- Used, refurbished or surplus parts: sold by registered professional garages and breakers. The seller is shown on every listing and on your order. WALBIA collects payment on the seller’s behalf, holds it until the order is completed and keeps a commission.
- Used cars: sold by garages. On WALBIA you only get in touch (“I’m interested”); price, test drive and sale are agreed directly with the garage, with no online payment.
- Car hire: offered by garages. On WALBIA you send a booking request that the garage must confirm; the hire contract is with the garage.
- Bookings and quotes: you ask the garage of your choice; you agree the repair and its price with them.
When the contract is with a garage or a seller, WALBIA provides the means for you to find each other and talk, but it is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for how the garage performs it, except where these terms say so expressly (for example, protected purchases of parts).
Your account
- To create an account you must be an adult and give accurate details. If you buy as a business or sole trader, you can add your company name and tax number.
- Your account is personal. Keep your password safe and tell us if you think someone is using it without permission.
- When you create your account you accept these terms and the terms of sale, and confirm you have read the privacy policy. If we change them, we will ask you to accept the new version when you sign in.
- You can delete your account whenever you like.
Buying parts
Prices are shown including IGI (Andorra’s general indirect tax, similar to VAT). Your order shows the price before tax, the IGI and the total. While you pay, the parts are held for you for 30 minutes.
After delivery you have 48 hours to tell us from your order if something is wrong (“I have a problem”). If you do not, or if you confirm all is well, the order is completed and the seller is paid. The 48 hours are the protected-purchase window: they do not cut short your warranty or any rights the law gives you.
Everything else (delivery, collection, claims, refunds and warranties) is in the terms of sale.
Bookings, quotes and your garage
You can ask a garage for a booking or a quote and send it photos. The garage replies, suggests a date or a price, and you decide whether to accept. The garage can see the photos and details you send.
In “My garage” you can save your cars and see their history at garages that use WALBIA. What the garage does to your car (diagnosis, repair, invoice) is the garage’s responsibility.
Used cars
The listing details (mileage, condition, equipment, price) are provided by the garage. “I’m interested” sends the garage your contact details and they call or write to you. Check the car and its paperwork before buying it. WALBIA does not take payment for or guarantee that sale.
Car hire
You see the available cars with the total price for your dates. A booking stays “requested” until the garage confirms it; if it does not within 48 hours or before the pick-up date, it lapses automatically and we let you know. You can cancel it before it starts.
Deposit, excess, included mileage, fuel, late returns and damage are governed by the garage’s conditions and the hire contract you sign when you pick up the car.
Reviews and ratings
Only customers with a completed repair at a garage can review it, and only buyers who received an order can rate the seller (within 60 days). Write respectfully and about your real experience. Only your first name is published.
The garage or seller can reply once. WALBIA may hide reviews that are insulting, show personal data, are not based on a real experience or break the law.
Community rules and reports
- Do not publish other people’s personal data (number plates, faces, phone numbers) or offensive, false or unlawful content.
- Do not use WALBIA to defraud, send advertising or close outside the platform deals that started on it in order to avoid the protected purchase.
- Do not try to get around security or download content in bulk.
If you see a listing that breaks the rules or the list of what cannot be sold, tap “Report this listing”. WALBIA reviews it, decides whether to remove it and lets you know. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; we will tell you why and you will be able to respond.
Artificial intelligence features
Some features use artificial intelligence: translating listings into your language, reading photos and documents or answering in the chat. Anything written by the AI is labelled as such. It can make mistakes: check important information (for example, whether a part fits) before deciding. A person from WALBIA can step in when needed.
Notifications and emails
We send the emails and notifications needed for your orders, bookings and requests. You can turn off phone notifications in the app. We will only send you marketing if you agree, and you can withdraw that at any time.
Liability
WALBIA is responsible for what it does itself: the new parts it sells and the protected-purchase process. It is not responsible for what garages and sellers do on their own account (repairs, car sales, car hire), although we will help you sort out any problem you tell us about.
We are not liable for damage caused by a part being fitted incorrectly or fitted to a car it was not meant for. Nothing here limits the rights the law gives consumers.
Changes and closing your account
We may change these terms to reflect the law or the service. We will tell you beforehand and, if the change is significant, ask you to accept the new version. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of the Principality of Andorra. If you have a problem, please write to us first from Support: almost everything gets solved that way. Otherwise, the courts of Andorra have jurisdiction, unless the law allows you, as a consumer, to go to the courts where you live.
